Rhododendron – The National Flower Of Nepal

Did you know that the Rhododendron is Nepal’s national flower?

Rhododendrons flourish in the wild in the foothills of the Himalayas at altitudes from 1200m to 4000m.

There are over 30 indigenous species, including Rhododendon lowndesit which is unique to the area.

Apparently, the best time to visit is between late March and mid-June, but you’ll definitely need your hiking boots!
